Taking life to the next levelBy Mark ReedLuis Palau is a very passionate person and it comes through in his book. I appreciate that this book isn't gloom and doom about today's society, but instead describes how much more there is to a life with faith. Really speaks to me about why faith matters. I get tired sometimes of people's impression that Christianity is pain and suffering until you die and then go to heaven. It can be much more that tToo often Christians settle for less in life, conditioned by their upbringing, entrenched insecurities, or the surrounding culture. We choose momentary pleasure over happiness, sex over love, fleeting popularity over connection.
