I couldn't actually read it through cover to cover (it was that uninspiring) so I read most of it, then skipped to the last two chapters. Honestly, for what it's worth, I LOVE Juliet Marillier. However, this book does not in any way give a clear indication of the true depth and richness of her talents as an author.
